Eric Ciappio, PhD, RD, is Manager of Scientific Affairs at DSM Nutritional Products North America wherehis primary responsibility is supporting the Food & Beverage business unit as well as the I-Health directto consumer family of products. Eric has an undergraduate degree and an MS in Nutrition Science from the University of Delaware and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, respectively. Eric completed his PhD in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition from Tufts University where his graduate research was focused on B-vitamin intake and colon cancer prevention. He completed his Registered Dietitian training at the College of Saint Elizabeth, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.
